Trotec Laser Case Study

In April 2018 Trotec began the process of moving to its new UK headquarters in Boldon Business Park, Tyne & Wear. Trotec UK was founded in 2007 and since then has been based just down the road in Washington, but following rapid business growth a decision was made to move to a larger premises.

The Background

The new 17,500 sq/f warehouse provides a dedicated home for Trotec’s range of laser machines, materials and technical support services among other products and a state-of-the-art laser showroom; all of which were previously separated in two different buildings.

The Testimonial

When Trotec settled on new premises to relocate its UK headquarters, it was important that we found the right partner who could meet our strict timescales and high standards for the building works required. SPF were recommended to us by a neighbouring company and we were not disappointment by the quality of service and workmanship we received. Our project manager, Craig Eldred, was always on hand to answer our questions and nothing was ever too much trouble. We set a detailed brief for the work, which SPF delivered within budget and on time, keeping us well-informed each step of the way.

In addition to the excellent communication, organisation and care provided to us by the project management team, the specialist tradesmen who worked on the project maintained an excellent can-do and helpful attitude, working seamlessly together with each other for the duration of the build.

Working with SPF was straightforward, Craig and his team eliminated a lot of the stress and worry which would usually come with such large-scale projects and the service was second-to-none. We would not hesitate in recommending SPF or working with them again in the future.
